Production

How long is the production time

A print on Photo paper & Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper will take 5 days to produce.

The production time for a Dibond Acrylic anti reflex, Dibond Acrylic, Dibond framebox and a Dibond fine art print takes 2 to 3 weeks.

Glass prints, a production time of 3 to 4 weeks should be taken into account because the glass needs to be ordered as well.

With Epoxy clear coating you should take into account a production  time of 3 to 4 weeks. For a good end result it is important that there is sufficient time during the casting process for curing.

In addition, large orders or extra finishing require more time and therefore you should take into account a longer shipping time.

What does Exclusive Collection mean?

This  Exclusive artwork I personally hand-picked the finishing and is available in a total of 7. Once they are sold, there won’t be any more available.

What does LIMITED EDITION mean?

Limited edition prints mean that there will only ever be a certain number of prints produced and once they are sold, there won’t be any more available.

Because I print my work at different sizes and materials, I limit the number of artworks to a certain number at each size.

  • 10 of the Small size 30×40 & 40×60 in available finishes
  • 10 of the Medium size 50×75 & 60×90 in available finishes
  • 10 of the Large size. 80×120, 90×135 & 100×150 in available finishes

*FineArt prints and Premium Photo Rag prints.

  • 30 of the 30×40 – 40×60 60×90 – 80×120

Shipping & Return

What is the shipping & return?

The production process of the print will start when the print is ordered. This is due to the fact that each print is specially customized for you and printed on a material to your choice. Because of this the right of withdrawal is expired. In other words, it is not possible to return a print. Each individual artwork in the Baksteen Productions collection is printable on various materials. Therefore, the sale is definitive after successful payment.

Avoid or limit direct sunlight.

Exposure to intense sunlight can drain the color from almost anything, including your new favorite work of art. Avoid hanging your artwork anywhere where it will receive regular doses of direct sunlight.

Watch your hands.

Always avoid directly touching your paintings or acrylic framing surfaces without wearing cotton gloves. If you do, you risk damaging them by exposure to your fingerprints and natural oils.

Keep your glass or acrylics squeaky clean.

When cleaning the glass or acrylic panel protecting your artwork, always use a soft non-abrasive cloth or microfiber towel. You should also consider purchasing an acrylic or ammonia-free glass cleaner.

Dust

If you have a unique painting that’s not behind glass or acrylic, don’t use any cleaners or solvents on the surface. Just lightly dust off the artwork with a soft feather duster or sable brush.

Store art in a cool, dry, dark place.

Pantry rules apply when you’re trying to protect unframed artwork. The best way to avoid damage from sunlight, humidity, and temperature fluctuations is to keep your art somewhere cool, dry, and dark.

Don’t leave your art in a tube.

If you’re not ready to hang your art yet, definitely do not leave it rolled up in a protective cardboard tube. You always want to store your art flat. Acrylic paint or embellished paintings stored in tubes can become stained, cracked, or dried up, if they’re left rolled up for too long.
